Meet Our Board Certified Dermatologists

Greg Jacobsen, MD

Dr. Jacobsen completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He received his medical doctorate at the University of Toledo, in Ohio. He subsequently completed his internship training at Intermountain Healthcare’s LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah and completed a dermatology residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.

W. Austin Smith, MD

Dr Smith received his undergraduate degree from Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah. He then obtained his medical doctorate at the Medical College of Wisconsin. After completing his internship in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr Smith proceeded to Baylor’s Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas where he completed his Dermatology Residency.

Bradley Evanson, MD

Dr Evanson received his undergraduate degree from BYU in Provo, Utah. He obtained his medical doctorate at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, and his internship in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr Evanson continued to Baylor Scott and White Health in Temple, Texas where he completed his Dermatology Residency and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor for 3 years.

Meet Our Board Certified Physician Assistants

Darin Smith, PA-C

Darin Smith after completing his undergraduate degree, completed his training as a Physician Assistant at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Darin has been practicing with Southwest Skin and Cancer since 2020.

Tim Nowatzke, PA-C

Tim Nowatzke received his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University. He then furthered his education with a Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant from the University of South Alabama.

Tim has been practicing with Southwest Skin and Cancer since 1998.

Marcus Pace, PA-C

Marcus Pace received his undergraduate degree at Southern Utah University. He then furthered his education with a Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant from Quinnipiac University.

Marcus has been practicing with Southwest Skin and Cancer since 2023.

James Eardley, PA-C

James Eardley studied at Brigham Young University. He then furthered his education with a Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant from the University Touro Un Col Of Osteopathic Medicine.

James has been practicing with Southwest Skin and Cancer since 2025.
